How do I get a price or a quote?

Is the price you gave me a quote or an estimate?
For your initial cleaning, the price we provide is an estimate. We base this estimate on the size of your home, the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, how many people and pets live there, and your assessment of your home’s current condition. If your home needs more attention than originally discussed, we’ll let you know before we begin-your price may be adjusted up or down based on the actual time and effort required. You’ll always have the final say before any changes are made. Once your home is on a recurring cleaning schedule, your price becomes a predictable rate for each visit. No surprises-just consistent service you can count on.

Do I have to give tip? / Can I give cash tips?
Gratuities are always optional. However, most of our clients use this as an opportunity to show their appreciation to their house cleaning professional. So, if you would like to show your appreciation by giving a gratuity, let me know how much and we will add it yo your invoice. And, of course your cleaning professional always receives a report with her payroll showing how much you gave. While we appreciate that you want to show your appreciation with giving cash gratuities, our cleaners prefer their gratuities to be in their paychecks because having all of thier gratuities in one lump sump in their paycheck actually helps them pay their bills as opposed to them stopping at a store on their way home from work.
Do you work weekends or nights?
Our Cleaning Professionals work Monday-Friday during normal business hours. If you have a day or time preference, we will do our best to accommodate any requests you may have. Our house cleaning technicians each generally have two-time slots per day. They are at 9 am and 1 pm. Occasionally a client needs cleaning on the weekend for a special occasion as moving or having a wedding. So, now and then we can accomodate such requests. But for the most part we clean Monday through Friday during normal business hours.
When do I pay for my cleanings?
We bill your credit card for a $50 Deposit to hold your reservation. Then after your cleaning has been completed we bill for the balance due. And, if you would like to add a gratuity we can add that to the invoice at the end of the cleaning. Then going forward, we do not require a deposit. We bill your card at the end of the day after we complete your regularly scheduled weekly, bi-weekly or monthly cleanings.
Are you insured?
Absolutely-your safety, your home, and your peace of mind are our top priorities at Mama Needs A Maid. We are fully bonded and carry comprehensive liability insurance to protect you in the rare event that something in your home is accidentally broken or damaged. In addition, we provide full Workers’ Compensation coverage for all of our employees. This means that if a cleaning professional is ever injured while working in your home, their medical care is completely covered-with zero cost or hassle to you. It’s important to know that hiring an independent housekeeper who isn’t insured or covered by Workers’ Compensation can put you at serious financial risk. If an uninsured cleaner is injured in your home, you could be held liable for their medical bills or even face a lawsuit. - Heavy scrubbing of walls
- Steam or wet carpet cleaning

- Washing of exterior windows
- We do not wet wipe surfaces with six or more items; instead, we lightly dust.
- We will not allow our team to use any harsh chemicals, even if requested
Do you provide your own cleaning products and equipment?

Of course, if you prefer to be home, we always enjoy meeting our clients in person. Are you pet-friendly?
Absolutely! We love furry family members. We simply add information about your pets to your client profile to ensure our cleaning team is prepared. Do you provide Organizing
Unfortunately, areas that are cluttered will not be able to be cleaned. So, what we recommend is that if you have areas that are cluttered is that you either straighten or if you do not have time for that right now, box up the clutter so that you get the best cleaning possible. Then, when you have time to go through the box you can put away your belongings. Does that make sense to you?

We do not offer cleaning for exterior areas such as yards, patios, pool areas, or landscaping, as these require specialized equipment and training best handled by outdoor maintenance professionals. How many cleaners and how long will it take for them to clean the house?
The number of Cleaning Professionals and the time required for your cleaning depends on your home’s size and specific needs:
- Smaller homes (typically under 3,000 sq. ft.) are usually assigned one Cleaning Professional for standard cleanings. If we are training new team members, you may occasionally see a team of two or three to ensure quality and consistency.
- Larger homes (around 3,000 sq. ft. or more) are generally serviced by a team of two or more Cleaning Professionals. This allows us to complete your cleaning efficiently and thoroughly, often within a few hours, so you can get back to enjoying your space sooner.
